Wilmington, Ohio
I watch your show all the time and I heard you say you were going to Wilmington, Ohio and for all of the people there to start making things to sell to the people you would be inviting to their town. They only had about three weeks and I knew there was no way they could complete enough items, so I talked with my daughter and we decided to make things too. We have throws and scarves and stuff working now. We will mail them to the Mayor of Wilmington so you don't have to worry about shipping stuff.
Keep it up Glenn, You are doing an outstanding job! I am proud of what you are doing, scared silly by it, but proud of you.

Being True and Tough in Texas

Thanks to Glenn I found out about the Story of Stuff. I work for a group that provides the sole source of curriculum to high school teachers in a subject (won't name due to possible backlash) for the state of Texas.  My job is to upload the online curriculum and manage the web site. We started in August of making all our curriculum available online. Double checking to make sure all the courses worked once uploaded, I found the "Story of Stuff" was in one of the strategies provided to the teachers. It maybe had been posted a month and probably not shown to the students yet due to the school year just starting. I made the curriculum specialist aware of the problems with the video. I typed out a page of why it is not right - this was around 3pm. She took it home to read.

That night I decided no matter if it cost me my job I would take down the section that featured the Story of Stuff first thing in the morning. The next morning the curriculum specialist said she may add a disclaimer, but it was too late at that point - I already took it down. So far no one as said anything to me about removing it or they probably haven't noticed. I couldn't live with myself knowing I didn't  remove it. Now hundreds if not thousands of Texas students will NOT be exposed to this propaganda.

Thanks,
Stacie

Once was lost but now am found

Dear Glenn,

My name is Joni  and I'm from Indiana. I'm not exactly sure when I started listening to you but it's been over one year.

I'll try not to make this long but I feel prompted by the Lord to let you know some of my story. I kept saying, "Lord, Glenn doesn't need to hear from me!", but then I heard the caller on your radio show giving out this email address, so I wanted to drop you a line.

I was born again when I was 18. I'm 47 now. I turned away from the Lord around 20 and have just become desperate enough in my life to turn back. I am an alcoholic/addict. I spent 5 1/2 years clean in a 12 step program but went back to drinking 5 years ago. I'm just now coming off what was pretty much a 5 year binge.

I remember on 8/28 being drunk and watching you on the Mall. I also remember being drunk while watching one of your shows and you said, "If you're drinking, quit!". After the show about the Tower of Babel, I opened my Bible for the first time in a long time. Then, during the show when you had the man from Wilmington on, I knew it was time to quit. Your messages had been chipping away at my hardened soul, especially the messages about how our children are watching.

You see, I have a 14 year old daughter. For the last 5 years, she has watched her mother slowly destroy herself. My drinking had been out of control for the last 3 years, so much so that I would even drive her to school drunk. I felt so ashamed and guilty that I would drink to try to forget.

The main reason I wanted you to know these things is because the Lord used you to help me out of the darkness. I'm now attending church, involved with strong Christian women, attending weekly Bible study, I am sober, and my daughter is seeing what the Lord is doing in my life.

Glenn, I cannot begin to express my gratitude to you, and the Lord, for what you have done for me and for the rest of our nation. I'm eternally grateful that the Lord has chosen you to lead so many out of the darkness.

I will continue to pray for you, your family and your cause. Thank you for fighting the good fight!

Blessings,
Joni
