Hi,
I live in Vermont. Many times I wonder why, but then again we all aren't crazy like Bernie Sanders. My daughter goes to Middle School. The kids are learning about China in social studies. She came home Monday and told me her teacher (retired Navy) showed a portion of Glenn Beck's show. It was Anita Dunn giving the speech where she said her 2 favorite people are Mao and Mother Theresa. I had actually showed her that a few months ago. I told her to tell her teacher I think I'm in love with him and also had the pleasure of telling her Ms. Dunn was no longer with the Obama administration. She said she knew he (the teacher) was "my kind". There are a few of "my kind" here in Vt. One friend of mine made it to 8/28, I watched it on my computer as did my husband and daughter.
I listen to Glenn just about everyday as I'm in sales and have a huge territory. I DVR his show and have saved all of the Founding Fathers series. I've learned so much from Glenn. I don't know any one who can make me laugh my head off as I'm thinking about hanging myself....just a little Glenn humor.
Keep going Glenn, you make so much sense and are truly helping so many people.
From a very grateful,
Lucie in Vermont
Thanks for your courage Glenn!
Pease tell Glenn that I think he is the most courageous man in the world. He's "taking on the jellies", ( A metaphor, quoted from the Disney movie "Finding Nemo") and making it through.
Thank You

Hey, I listen to Glenn Beck almost daily and really get down in the dumps often. It's not because of Glenn, but because of the news of the day and the way things are going for our country. In the midst of depressing news, I received a tremendous uplift the other day and wanted to share it. I went through a ton of individuals offering services to repair some missing screens on my pool enclosure at our home here in Florida. People wouldn't show up on time, so I cancelled them. If you can't be on time, well.....
I was mowing my lawn the other day and a small, late model pickup truck drove up in front of my home and a young man got out and walked up to me (oh no, here's some sales guy!). the young man was neat, casually-dressed, wearing a golf shirt with a company logo. He said he observed that I had some screens missing and offered his services. I arranged for him to come the next day. He showed up on time, avoided any casual banter, and went right to work. He crawled all over my pool enclosure and replaced the screens in record time with a small thundershower moving in and light rain falling. He was all over my pool enclosure like Spiderman! When he was done, he sought me out and presented me with a very reasonable bill for his services. I wrote him a check with an ample tip and started to talk to him a bit.
"Spiderman" said he was 26 years old. His mother took him out of public school early on and chose to home school him instead. As a result, he said he "maxed out" the SAT's and then received a full scholarship to Stetson University (a very exclusive, private university here in Florida). He said he graduated with honors in Business Administration and, after graduation, went on to a local police department to go through their police academy. He finished the police academy at the top, but really thought that police work wasn't really for him. He worked as a police officer for a year after strong encouragement from his department.
"Spiderman" left the police department and went into business on his own, set up his own website, stocked his small, clean pickup truck with supplies and procured a uniform (of sorts) with khakis, golf shirts plus logo, and impressive looking business cards. God Bless this young man! I wanted to call his mother and thank her for the obvious efforts she put in to raise this young man. Being former military, I immediately envisioned this young man as an excellent Marine Corps officer--but he is doing what he has chosen to do and that's to run his own small business. It was absolutely refreshing to have met this young man and realize that there are many like him "out there". I can only hope that their small businesses continue to grow and flourish!!

Thanks for last night!
