Our First Post

So here are some of the letters we've received today.  We've been able to post the majority of them. Remember,  we are really looking for the good things that you are seeing from wherever you are!  Let's restore some hope!

Hello, Glenn~~

I heard your caller, Sarah, talk about this email address on your radio program today and thought it was a wonderful idea.  I am sending this into cyberspace on blind faith and hope you receive it.

My husband and I watch your television program every day and often hear you on the radio.  We cannot begin to express our gratitude to you for ALL you  have done for this country to educate its people.  You are a very intelligent man who loves his country and are a great radio/TV personality who touches our hearts.  I also believe part of your success is because you are a true "man of the people" and we know that you are one of "us".  However, I believe you missed another calling -- you would have been a great teacher.  You make history come alive!

The next time you wake up in the middle of the thinking about whether or not you are doing good, go back to bed and rest assured that you are doing a wonderful service.  This is your calling and is a Gift From God.  You are a true Patriot.

Keep on doing what you are doing and your viewers are anxiously awaiting what you have in store for us in 2011!  Merry Christmas to you and your family.

All the best and stay safe,
Linda and Earl
Chicago,

Thanks, Sarah for doing this.  This really is good for Glenn.  When someone is getting beat up & beaten down daily, it's good to know people really do care.

Thanks again,
Cathy

Since recently working to become debt free my husband and I have been able to give money to our Bishop at Christmas time to help others.  Last year, however, I was struck with something said on your Tv show featuring "The Christmas Jar".  The author mentioned how this is something children can do, too. We give privately, so it benefits our children very little.  I loved the idea of our three boys having a way to help and learning to sacrifice, even if just a little.
We started a jar that night, reading stories from the website, crying (well, I cried) and feeling blessed as a family.  I watched as my children dropped there change into the jar during the year. Sometimes, after getting paid for the work they had done, they would pull out a precious dollar and add it to the jar.  My teenager dropped five dollars one day into it. I think watching them blessed me simply in their  actions.
We counted our jar at a family night, and there was close to $100.00 in it. We discussed who might be able to use this money, and where we could get ideas on who to help. The children mentioned a single mother, whose husband recently walked out on her, that lives across the street.  She has one small little boy and struggles to make ends meet on her own. We agreed to pray on it, and they all have told me that is who needs our Christmas Jar.
We plan to give it this Sunday night, and are still rounding up all the change we can find....the kids have begged their dad to put a 20 dollar bill in there, to top it off  just for fun..... they are so excited to give.
I know it is small, just a small thing  on our little street, but as a mother watching our family do this throughout the year, and hearing my kids discuss who will get the jar and understand this, that we can help in some way, has been huge for me.
Thank you Glenn, for that show you aired you last year.  It's fruits are still springing forward today.

Thanks Sarah,

I too was so frustrated after last nights show. The frustration comes from the enormity of our own demise.

My name is also Sarah but I go by Kc. I am a TaeKwon-Do 4th degree black belt master in Miami, Florida. I work in an urban area, so I work with many low income families. During the summer I started teaching the children about our founding fathers, including Fredric Douglas, Allen Richards, and the seven black supreme court judges during our camp hours. My students parents are mostly democrats of black or hispanic decent. I even have a few parents that will tell you they are socialist or a little socialism is a good thing. So, I gave several families full or partial scholarships to attend our 10 week camp. It was just under $10,000 in revenue loss for our organization or you could say in-house donation. And  then explained to those families, that this is how our constitution was constructed; let me decide who I give charity to not the government reaching into my pocket and taking from me to squander on their programs that I am not able to contribute/oversee to a positive outcome.

After attending 8-27-10 & 8-28-10 in Washington D.C., I started having all student say the pledge of allegiance and taught the students the "Star Spangle Banner"
The students range from 5 to 50 years of age.

We had a event a couple of weeks ago and we started the program with the pledge and the Star Spangle Banner. I asked that all parents and visitors stand with us. I also spent a little time educating the visitors about what is coming, why it is coming, AND HOW TO PREPARE.

I desperately need a knee operation, when I went in to the Orthopedic doctors appointment, I brought in my copy of broke to read while waiting for the doctor to see me. As, a small mom and pop business of course, I have no health insurance, so I am a cash patient (I have insurance for my business and it cost $10,250 a year, but not for me). The doctor notice the book right away event though I had removed the colorful cover. My doctor was awake! That does not help me with the knee operation, but it was good to know he is paying attention and a quiet way for me to open a dialog.

Well, I have to go pick up the kids for our after school program, good luck with your goodforglenn project! Go to the movies tonight to see broke, It might empower you;
I am with my 5 year old son.

Regards,

Sarah "Kc"

Good Morning Glenn

I was just watching your radio show this morning, and every morning from 9 to 12, and a caller talked about this website for you.
I watch and listen to you every morning while at work.  I have it saved on my computer.
I just had to write and tell you thank you very much for all that you do for the citizens of this country.
God gave you a calling, and you certainly are living up to that, and you have to know that he blesses you everyday of your life for what you are doing.  I hope and pray everyday that your health is improving.

I am ashamed to say that I will be 66 next week, and up to 2 years ago, I never knew much about politics.
I guess I was like some other americans, bitching  and complaining about what is going on in our country and the corruption within the government, but never doing anything about it.  I use to say "what can I do, I am just a nobody and they are bigger than me".  But not any more!
My girlfriend ask me a couple of years ago "what do you think about Acorn".  I asked her "what is Acorn".
Well, I couldn't get her to shut up about it.  She told me to listen to Fox News, Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly.
Well, for the past two years my TV, and the TV at work) has Fox on from 6:00 AM (Fox and Friends) until 11:00PM (after Greta).
I  still can't thank my friend enough.   I AM REALLY HOOKED.
I watch your show everyday at 5:00 PM and if I miss it I set my alarm clock for 1:55AM.  This is a repeat of your 5:00 PM show.   I also had the opportunity to see you and Bill O'Reilly in Atlantic City this summer.  You were both wonderful, enlightening, and comical.

I have read ALL of your books.  I cried during the "Christmas Sweater".  I have also read all of  Bill O'Reilly's, Sean Hannity, Michaelle Malkin, Andrew Napolitano, Dick Morris, Mike Huckabee, David Lembaugh, Jim Demint, Sarah Palin, Laura Ingraham, Charles Gasparine, S.E. Culp, Aaron Klein, George W. Bush, and Jerome Corsi Ph.d.  You should be SO proud of yourself. Because of everything that I have learned from you, and everyone at FOX, I fell that I now have the opportunity to do something with this knowledge.

I belong to two Tea Party Groups.  For the past two years, I have been doing a lot of research on everything that I have learned from you or all the books I have read.  I have 15 separate files, which I intend to use for something that I am working on.  I am in the midst of talking to a Constitutional lawyer, and others in the political fields.
When I have accomplished what I am setting out to do, I will let you know.   All of the things that I have been doing is because of you, and I can't thank you enough.  I feel good about myself because of the things you say, and I am proud to do this for my country.

YOU REALLY ARE A TRUE AMERICAN.   MAY GOD ALWAYS KEEP YOU IN HIS CARE.
AND MAY HE ALWAYS BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

I watch your show all the time and I heard you say you were going to Wilmington, Ohio and for all of the people there to start making things to sell to the people you would be inviting to their town. They only had about three weeks and I knew there was no way they could complete enough items, so I talked with my daughter and we decided to make things too. We have throws and scarves and stuff working now. We will mail them to the Mayor of Wilmington so you don't have to worry about shipping stuff.

Keep it up Glenn, You are doing an outstanding job! I am proud of what you are doing, scared silly by it, but proud of you.

I've been watching Glenn since his show premiered on Fox and his radio show appeared on XM and WOR radio in NYC.  Without Glenn watching out for us, where would we be?  Completely in the dark and continually being covered over with layer upon layer of Government lies till we suffocated.  And, as a result of Glenn and his machine (including Pat and Stu) digging through the facade that our elected officials erected to trick the American people into thinking they are helping us when in fact they are shafting all of us - we have become a truly enlightened force to be reckoned with.  And, most importantly of all, Glenn has brought God back fully front and center into the public forum.  THANK YOU GLENN FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE!  I can hold my head up proudly knowing that what I believe in my heart to be true is not some outdated system destined for the dustbin of history, but rather a living system that has sustained all the good that humankind has to offer since God first breathed life into Adam.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Once I got sick.  There was no income for my son & me.

For 1.5 years, unable to work, I lost 2 cars and was late on most bills.
During this time my mother, a nephew and my father passed away.

BUT GOD is so faithful!!!!!!

Electrical, phone, water, gas  services NEVER stopped and I was able (or fortunate) to obtain Food Stamps.
but no toilet paper, soaps, paper products or hot foods from delis.

The only thing I could do was stay in bed or go to the bathroom.
My son could not find a job and I was too sick to do anything.
God is Faithful!
God is so very Faithful!
I'm still trying to get my strength back.
And my son will be back in college this Spring.

I don't like being on Disability, but am still unable to work.
Just very glad my son can continue his education.

I wanted to share my witness with you and give you a smile.

If Glenn is really reading this:
Thank you for being a prophet.
YOU have shaped many minds for the good.

Brother Glenn we are a huge military family. Two of my boys are in rotation again for the desert and the rest of us will fight for them here. We are new at food storage and feeling stronger every minute.
Our neighbors are in their 80's...black and democrat... (profiling)... and have a memorial to Barak in their livingroom...(hate it).  But ---   We love them as if they were our own grandparents.  Car rides to the grocery store...plumbing problems...name it...we help and protect them.
We share from each other's gardens.  If we have too many vegetable plants we pull out the wheelbarrow and transplant to each others gardens.  We share the crops with our friends as well. Life is good and the example we set for our children is the goal.

Thanks for the heads-up on this crap....... we hear you.  We see it coming through our own eyes.  Rest easy Brother.  A family of 27 is doing it !!!  And this is just our starter-kit.

Peace be with you.

I was laid off from my full-time job 2 years ago this coming January 2011.  I guess you would say I am now part of the under-employeed.  I work part-time at the Dollar General Store here in Ohio.  I just got a promotion to be trained for the 3rd key position.  Praise God.  I also am getting the retirement money from the company that laid me off to help supplement my income (no longer on unemployment).  Next year I am eligible for SS (I'll be 62).  I am going to go ahead and get the money.  I also am going to continue to work at Dollar General.  This extra money will help me pay off my house early.  The house payment is my only outstanding debt, and I should be able to pay it off in less than 2 years.  God is so good.  I have cut down on frivilous spending and concentrate on what is needed.  I also have a wonderful church that I attend.

Last year our family lost Grandma (my mother-in-law).  The family gave me bags and bags of yarn.  So this year "my" grandkids are getting crocheted afghans for Christmas.  Until I start getting SS next year, my money is tight.  This was a definite blessing.  Thanks Grandma. thanks God.

I am going to check with some of the mom and pop stores around and see if they can sell any of the crocheted items I can make.  This would be great.  It gives me a new goal to try to be productive and do something I enjoy.

God Bless you Glenn and your family and co-workers.  God Bless the person that started this e-mail address.

Thanks, for a place to post positivity in my life.

Glenn spoke recently about kids no longer playing for the sake of play.  Rest assured, this activity is not dead! Our kids have other kids in the neighbor who get together after school or weekends for pick up games of basketball, soccer, capture the flag, SPUD or just to ride their bikes around the neighborhood.  They also play organized sports but not all year round and not everyday of the week.   They much prefer the FREEDOM of their own backyards and imaginations! All is not lost.   And Glenn, thought you'd get a kick out of this - my youngest son, who is eleven, recently told my 14 year old "You're going to be the next George Washington!".  And he's never heard you utter those words!
God bless you,

Our town, Bradenton, FL, and surrounding county, Manatee, on the weekend before Thanksgiving collected over 84,000 pounds of food for the food bank.  Publix Supermarkets got together with the school board for a Stuff the Bus weekend.  Fourteen Publix stores each had a school  bus parked out front.  Publix prepared shopping bags of various sizes, containing food items,  for customers to buy and donate.

Tropicana (a local employer) weighed each bus before and after to come up with the total poundage of food.

In the checkout line my husband heard a teenage young man with a small bag of food say he didn't have any money but wanted to  participate.  At another store, a woman bought a bag to give, with her food stamps.

I'd like to pin a rose on everybody who participated, including the high schoolers and other volunteers who worked on unloading all that food at the central food bank, It was to be  distributed to about 100 local charities who offer food to the needy.

I'm praying for you!   You are such an inspiration to me, you keep on going!  Unless my eyes deceived me, (fairly regularly!) me, you had different lenses in your glasses yesterday- but you just fight right on through.  Thank you so much for what you do.  I'm praying not only for your family's safety, but more personally for the neuropathy and eyesight.  We seem to be clliming into the same boat.  Please forgive my typing errors, as the screen looks like I'm standing in a fun house.
Many prayers,

I am a medical transcriptionist and work from home in Texas so I religiously have Glenn Beck on every day while I am typing.  I just moved down here with my family from Michigan a couple of months ago as my husband, in the restaurant industry, accepted a position with his company to open a new store in New Braunfels.  He is originally from Texas and we both noticed that even in such a booming area, huge contrast to my native Michigan, there are already signs of impending "doom" down here as well, and wanted to take a moment to thank Glenn for telling it like it is and keep those of us who are not "part of the herd" in the know, and how to prepare for the plunge of the American dollar.  Please pass this along to him so that he knows he has a big fan in Texas as well as all of my family in Michigan (they are so bummed that they cannot get him on the radio anymore out of Ann Arbor!)  Glenn, we are on the Ark with you!!!!

Hi we were doing great things here in our little corner of the world.

We have the Jones County 9.12 based in Anamosa, Iowa. We started our group in March of 2010 with 7 people at our first meeting. We know have about 30-35 members.

The last few meetings of this year we have decided to focus on where we are going for the future - we plan on being around for quite some time.

We are forming committees for legislation watch on the state and federal level, volunteers to attend school board, city council and county supervisor meetings and to report the information back to the group so we can share it.
We also have formed a charitable outreach group to work on donations for our local food bank. We are going to be educating ourselves and each other on food storage, debt reduction, etc. If we are well educated, we will be more confident in sharing that information and knowledge with those around us.

I am also taking the 40 day challenge, and have been blogging my experience on a daily basis. You can read it here:

We are determined to make a go of this and effect change where we can. All is never lost as long as we stick together and keep encouraging each other. God is the center of what we do.

Thanks for this idea. I think it is important for Glenn to know he is having an impact.

Thank you,
Jenn
