Our church of 4000 in Bloomington/Normal, IL does a program called Imagine where we collect toys one week, winter coats one week ,and food the next, the church is opened to the needy on the 18th and people come to get what they need.
My parents (in their mid to late 60's) have temporary custody of a 16 yo girl for Guatemala. They were hoping she could have surgery on her hip but unfortunately she has Muscular Dystrophy and can not be operated on. They paid for her airfare to get here and all Dr and Dentist bills. They will have her for a total of 3 months.
